Job Summary
In this dynamic role, you'll encounter daily challenges that require proactive engagement with data protection and privacy. The role involves consulting across departments to ensure compliance with privacy laws and conducting impact assessments.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Consult with internal teams to ensure privacy by design in new and existing processes.
- Conduct regular privacy impact assessments to identify risks and recommend mitigative measures.
- Stay updated on changes in privacy laws and ensure organizational practices comply.
- Develop and deliver training materials to enhance privacy awareness within the organization.
- Assist in the management of data breaches and incidents, ensuring rapid response and compliance with legal requirements.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Educational Background: Master’s or bachelor’s degree in law, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Experience: Up to 5 years of experience in privacy, data protection, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in conducting privacy impact assessments and managing privacy compliance projects.
- Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of Data Protection and Privacy laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and others.
Reporting To Director of Privacy and Data Protection
Grade Appropriate to qualifications and experience, in line with organizational standards.
