Role Summary: -

The successful candidate will support the leadership and lead the coordination of the Clients & Markets initiatives for the Western Region of Saudi Arabia. The candidate will work with the Regional Head of Markets in driving business development initiatives as well as ensuring realization of synergies across functions.

The individual will also take on the role of Account Manager on select accounts, and will support the Account Lead Partner by driving the account management activities related to the business development and account's go-to market plan. This includes taking a role in the development and execution of the account strategy, developing leads, support the pursuit of new opportunities and managing the relationships with the key clients while ensuring the quality of the proposals and submissions. All of which will require working with the team across the functions and solutions both locally and globally.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the execution of the regional priority accounts program and working with the Regional Head of Markets to assist respective Account Lead Partners on account planning, relationship management and pursuit of select opportunities
  • Support in periodic governance and assessment of the regional priority accounts
  • Support the Regional Head of Markets in collaboration with the Regional Head of Audit on identification, pursuit strategy and governance on action plan for the pursuit of strategic clients in Audit
  • Support the Regional Head of Markets in collaboration with the Regional Head of Tax on the execution of select growth initiatives, with particular emphasis on new solutions based on new regulations
  • Setting up periodic pipeline calls for strategic opportunities and ensuring resolution of related action points
  • Being on top of trends and developments in the region with specific emphasis on identification of prospective high potential clients
  • Assist with client relationships on relationship accounts
  • Support the Regional Head of Markets in working with solution leaders on growing their respective solutions in the region
  • Support pursuits including proposal development that may comprise multiple solutions, jointly with the solution leaders
  • Reporting on priority and relationship accounts’ performance
  • Assisting in and ensuring collaboration and communication between the Audit, Advisory and Tax functions
  • Support communications across KPMG’s international corridors and the wider network
  • Supporting the Regional Head of Markets on other ad-hoc tasks


Tasks related to taking on the role of Account Manager:

  • Driving the development of the account plan and execution of the strategy
  • Assist in identifying and assessing opportunities in accordance to the opportunity management framework and processes
  • Project manage qualified opportunities with alignment and coordination with the bid and solutions teams
  • Handling meaningful client relationships and assist in introducing KPMG’s propositions relevant to the client
  • Working within the allocated account to achieve the account goals, targets and sales/pipeline.
  • Monitor account progress and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes

Skills & Experience: -

  • 5 years of experience in management consulting business, preferably with a professional services firm.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Proven track record for business development
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a complex and uncertain environment
  • Self-driven and able to work autonomously
  • Fluent in Arabic and English
  • Saudi national is preferred
  • Experience in the public sector is preferred
