Job Summary:
Focus on the audit quality agenda and support audit engagement teams with the technical guidance, tools and templates needed to deliver high quality, efficient and digitally innovative solutions to clients.
About the Role:
Seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join the Department of Professional Practice in Audit Methodology. The successful candidate will support engagement teams across the Middle East by assisting in providing technical audit guidance, developing intellectual resources, delivering training, monitoring changes in methodology, and promoting consistent audit quality.
An excellent opportunity for a technically strong auditor who enjoys solving complex auditing issues, developing guidance, and working with engagement teams across a wide range of industries.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assist in responding to technical inquiries and consultations from engagement teams.
- Research and analyze complex auditing matters relevant to engagement teams in different industries.
- Develop audit technical guidance, work papers and templates to support the execution of quality audits and tailored training materials.
- Monitor new and updated standards, methodology and related external and internally developed resources.
- Support audit quality initiatives and collaborate with regional DPP teams on strategic projects.
- Perform duties as required by the System of Quality Management.
- Perform other duties within the scope as assigned by his/her line manager.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in his/her area of expertise.
Qualifications:

- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive external audit experience with a Big Four or leading international audit firm.
- Strong knowledge of ISA and IFRS.
- Experience in managing multiple projects and priorities and working independently as well as in teams.
- Strong communication, project management and presentation skills.
