Job Summary

Oversee the firm's regulatory strategy, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations requirements and mitigation of risks.

Roles and Responsabilites

  • Review and approve regulatory documents (applications, reports, etc.) to ensure accuracy and adherence to relevant regulations.
  • Ensure the preparation of comprehensive reports summarizing legal activities, risks identified, and actions taken to mitigate them.
  • Offer high-level insights and recommendations to the Regulatory Affairs team based on findings.
  • Offer advice on various regulatory matters to ensure compliance.
  • Keep the team updated on new regulations and their implications.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand technical aspects of products and translate them into compliant regulatory language.
  • Address and resolve all legal and regulatory issues in collaboration with legal and risk management teams.
  • Oversee the progress and status of actions taken to resolve issues.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with regulatory authorities.
  • Act as the principal point of contact for regulatory bodies, ensuring effective communication and compliance.
  • Perform other duties within the scope as assigned by his/her Performance Manager.
  • Assume the authorities assigned to him/her.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in his/her area of expertise.

Education

Associate Degree in Business Administration or Law
