Job Summary
System of Quality Management (SoQM) workstream focuses on ensuring the compliance with International Standard on Quality Management (ISQM1).The Specialist - SoQM, Internal Audit is an non-client facing role attached to the SoQM testing team led by firm's SoQM testing lead. The individual taking over this role requires to perform test of design, implementation and effectiveness of the firm's SoQM controls and report results to the various stakeholders within the firm.
Roles and Responsabilites
- Support the development of annual testing plans.
- Interact with the respective control operators/owners to understand the control background.
- Interact with relevant stakeholders and communicate timetables and requirements.
- Identify the testing samples and perform testing in accordance with the SoQM methodology guide.
- Identify control gaps and communicate with the respective stakeholders.
- Assist respective stakeholders with the development of remedial actions and agree on the timelines.
- Support on day-to-day testing activities and deliverables
- Maintain control testing documentation as required in an appropriate manner.
- Assume the authorities assigned to him/her.
- Perform other duties within the scope as assigned by his/her Performance Manager.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in his/her area of expertise
Skills
- Bilingual (English and Arabic)
- Basic office computer literacy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to perform proper documentation and good record keeping
