KPMG Kawasmy & Partners is currently seeking to hire an experienced Senior Auditor for a permanent opportunity to work with our Audit HUB function.

 

Job Role & Responsibilities:

  • Contributes towards the creation, implementation and delivery of the Audit Business Plan and offer support in relation to issues identified as a result of organizational or client focus change
  • Understand the client's industry and recognize key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments. Stay informed of general business/economic developments and their impact to the client;
  • Nurture and seek worthwhile relationships with clients, business departments and staff, for the sharing of information and to identify and progress current and future Audit requirements
  • Understand the client’s industry and recognize key performance drivers, business trends and industry developments
  • Preparation of reports to senior management and Audit Committees
  • Use analytical skills to assess accounting and financial reports by testing the documentation of transactions that the company has provided
  • Review accounts receivable, invoices, vendor payments and billing procedures to ensure compliance with accounting guidelines.
  • Understand the client's industry and recognize key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments. Stay informed of general business/economic developments and their impact to the client;

 

Skills & Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a qualified SOCPA/LCPA/CA/CPA/ACCA/CFA / MBA (finance) from a reputed institute is preferred but not a pre-requisite.
  • Must have 2-3 years of relevant experience in Financial Services with corporate finance, investment bank, project finance advisory experience acquired with banks, professional firms and corporations with a track record of academic and professional success
  • Knowledge of business trends, emerging technical and industry developments.
  • Past Big 4 experience is preferred
  • Proficiency with financial research tools 
  • Excellent communication and presentation capability
  • Ability to travel as and when required
  • Ability to thrive in an international environment
  • Extremely high level of comfort with spreadsheets, MS word and Power point
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and project management skills
