Senior Consultant - Corporate Finance

 

Job Role & Responsibilities

  • Supporting corporate finance engagements including Fundraising, Business Valuation, M&A, Feasibility Studies, Intangible Asset Valuation, and Financial Model Review.
  • Building, developing, and using financial models to assess transactions (profitability for shareholders, sensitivity tests and financing structuring).
  • Assisting in reflections on financial structuring and risk analysis of the transactions.
  • Conducting detailed financial analysis on historical and projected financial results.
  • Using analytical skills to articulate the business needs and issues.
  • Working collaboratively, assisting with anything that needs to be done, working alongside people who has a diverse range of skills, styles, and approaches.
  • Communicating effectively with the Manager.
  • Taking accountability for specific defined work and projects. Proactively keeps senior team members informed of developments or risks.
  • Preparing deliverables for managers and director’s review.
  • Knowledge of investment and growth strategies, portfolio management, risk assessment, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of investment opportunities, market trends, and economic indicators.
  • Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and geopolitical events that could impact clients' investments.
  • Supporting the directors and managers in delivering high-quality advice and reports for a range of clients.

Skills & Experience

  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in Corporate Finance in the Big 4 or investment banks.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
  • A qualified CPA /CFA / MBA (finance) from a reputed university is considered advantageous
  • Knowledgeable with valuation concepts and techniques.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills to carry out financial analysis and prepare client documentation (e.g., IM, teaser, pitch decks, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, verbal communication, and writing skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple high-impact projects for Corporate Functions.
